The cable’s core conductor features 7 twisted bundles, each consisting of 33 strands of 0.3mm 4N OFC copper, resulting in an impressive cross-sectional area of 16.32mm². To shield the conductor from interference and environmental impact, the HU-162M employs a 6-layer dielectric and shielding structure:
- High-performance PEF foam insulation as the first layer — featuring approximately 40% micro air bubbles to offer lightweight structure, effective thermal resistance, vibration damping, and mechanical strength.
- Thick copper foil shield, delivering the first layer of electromagnetic protection.
- 30-strand copper shielding wire (0.18mm each), helically wound for full-body EMI rejection.
- A third shield in the form of a dense copper braided mesh, ensuring full 360° coverage.
5–6. The cable is finished with dual-layer PVC jackets—an inner semi-rigid PVC and an outer color-coded red or blue protective layer for UV, heat, and abrasion resistance.
