To effectively eliminate ground loop surges and weak current issues, Monitor Acoustics developed two Super Ground Filters: Studio MKII and Basic MKII. Among them, the Studio MKII—with its iconic gold-brick-like chassis—features a maximum attenuation of -60dB and is equipped with an upgraded MA nano-electromagnetic core.
By leveraging the principle of electromagnetic loop control, the MKII effectively suppresses noise interference while significantly extending frequency response. This ensures the system's internal resistance remains at optimal levels, minimizing temperature rise in both the live and neutral conductors—and in some cases, even reducing it. As a result, the filter enhances current efficiency, transforming noisy, unstable power into a clean and quiet electrical environment, allowing your equipment to perform at peak stability and fidelity.

Simple and Intuitive Installation
No complex setup is required. Simply mount the Studio MKII Super Ground Filter on the RC wall adjacent to the breaker box. Connect the building’s original ground loop wire from the breaker panel to the OUT terminal of the unit. Then, use the included MA ground cable to connect the IN terminal back to the ground busbar in the breaker panel. That’s it.
