The SZZ-50 MKII indoor power cable from Monitor Acoustics is crafted to deliver a vibrant, lifelike current that injects clarity, energy, and precision into your audio system. At its core lies a refined 5N OCC single crystal copper conductor, where each phase (live, neutral, ground) is formed from four bundles of 45-strand, stress-relieved OCC wires, achieving a conductor cross-section of 3.61mm²—a balance of power and agility ideal for hi-fi and precision equipment.
Each conductor is individually insulated with color-coded SR PVC jackets in white, red, and green. Between the three phase wires and their dual insulation paper layers, cotton filler threads are carefully inserted to damp mechanical vibrations and maintain internal structure. This is followed by a thick wrap of high-conductivity copper foil shielding, providing robust defense against EMI and RFI noise.
The cable’s outer protection begins with a layer of conductive PVC, enhancing shielding integrity, and is finalized with an additional green heat-resistant PVC jacket. This multi-layer dielectric structure not only secures excellent insulation and durability but ensures clean, uninterrupted power flow—essential for extracting every nuance of your audio source.
