電源系統走到了末端，最常被忽略的就是牆壁上的「壁插座」，一般家用對電路要求，大多只是電箱電閘數要足、電線要粗，而對壁插座就沒有那麼的要求了，但這個關鍵的「連接點」，對於電源的傳遞卻是無比重要，您可以想像一下，插座的設計與品質優劣，就像賽跑賽道上的跨欄高度一樣，阻擋了電源的流暢度，所以在挑選「壁插座」的時候、絕不能馬虎，性能是否達至高導電、耐高電壓、耐高電流、耐高溫、低溫升係數與穩固的夾持力都是要考量的要點。
MA靜神在2011年開發出高性能的「AG-P (Analog) / AG-Q (Digital) 隔離電源插座」，直至今日這兩款插座，還是難以被超越，可說是MA靜神的傳奇，當年以極盡苛求的工藝，從外殼模具、金屬導材、打磨方式、電鍍配方、組裝步驟等等…都錙銖必較，特殊的鈹銅合金傳導核心，採用少見繁工的五爪夾片設計，佐以細膩的打磨與貴金屬電鍍，其中還特別要求配合的電鍍廠，使用MA靜神指定的「精密電子級電鍍水」，不惜製作成本、也要把東西做到最好。而「靚電」細節還不僅僅如此，還有五爪夾片的咬合角度、地迴路的處理、插座外殼的結構、外殼塑料的配方、製程的特殊要求，這些細節都要面面俱到，才能將性能發揮至極致，以極為優異的性能，讓許許多多的音響玩家用上了就「難以自拔」，展現產品無與倫比的性能表現。

In the realm of power transmission, the final leg is often the most neglected—the in-wall AC receptacle. While most attention is paid to circuit breakers or cable thickness, the importance of this last connection point cannot be overstated. Just like hurdles on a track slow down a runner, subpar receptacles can restrict the smooth flow of power, undermining system performance and sonic purity.
Monitor Acoustics recognized this critical detail in 2011 and responded with the development of the high-performance AG-P (Analog) and AG-Q (Digital) isolation AC receptacles. These designs quickly became legendary, renowned for their obsessive craftsmanship across every detail—custom casing molds, proprietary copper alloys, surface polishing, precious metal plating, and even the assembly protocols. At the heart of each unit lies a custom-engineered beryllium copper alloy contact system with a rare and refined five-prong configuration, precision-ground and plated with noble metals using MA’s exclusive semiconductor-grade electroplating bath.
But it doesn’t stop there. Every element—from the bite angle of the five-prong terminals, grounding loop control, structural design of the enclosure, to the custom plastic compound infused with vibration-damping materials—was meticulously optimized to deliver reference-grade performance. This level of engineering has earned the AG series a loyal following among audiophiles, many of whom describe it as a truly transformative upgrade.
The AG-Q model was specifically designed for digital source components such as CD, BD, SACD, LP players, DACs, and digital preamplifiers. Its contact blades are made from 0.8mm-thick, high-conductivity beryllium copper alloy, featuring a five-prong engagement system that ensures consistent, low-resistance connection. These are nano-polished, plated with a thick 0.9µm layer of rhodium, and subjected to -196°C cryogenic treatment over 12 hours to realign the crystal structure and reduce internal stress—resulting in smoother, faster energy flow.
Internally, the isolation and grounding structure is equally robust. The grounding plate is made from 2mm-thick 4N pure red copper, plated in 24K gold. The enclosure is crafted from temperature-resistant nylon (top) and a PBT composite base reinforced with high-strength fibers. A central insulating layer between the live/neutral and ground conductors provides dielectric strength up to 2000V, ensuring long-term safety and isolation performance. The unit also employs non-magnetic, high-tensile stainless steel screws, and all metallic parts are cryo-treated for maximum stability.
